BATTLEFIELD 1

Battlefield 1 is a first person shooter, developed by Digital Illusions Creative Entertainment (DICE) and published by Electronic Arts. It is the fifteenth chapter of the Battlefield series. The game was released for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on October 21st 2016.
Game mode
Unlike previous chapters of the series, Battlefield 1 is an FPS, set during the First World War. Players can use various World War I weapons, including the revolving-sliding shutter, the submachine gun, various semi-automatic rifles, artillery, flamethrowers, and chemical weapons.
Multiplayer
The online mode of Battlefield 1 emphasizes teamwork as well as other games in the series. To facilitate access to the game it is now possible to create a group of users from the main menu and enter all together in the game immediately composing teams of 5 (the same update was also used for Battlefield 4 and Battlefield Hardline). Only servers managed by EA are provided. From the online point of view, support for up to 64 players is available. The new team system allows you to enter and leave the servers together. Always in agreement with Berlin, playing without joining a team makes gameplay much more difficult. Multiplayer maps are based on places around the world, such as Arabia, the western front and the Alps.
Expansions
The campaign, set along the Western Front, follows the exploits of Blackburn, an American volunteer pilot enlisted in the British Royal Flying Force. Cunning, apparently unscrupulous, but an excellent pilot, he steals a new generation British plane by trickery. He became acquainted with the co-pilot Wilson, with whom he made a bond of friendship, pretending to be the real owner of the biplane.
During the campaign, lasting four episodes, the player will have to fight against German fighters, escort bombers and destroy armored ground vehicles to support the advance of the Entente troops. During the third episode the plane is shot down and Blackburn finds himself in enemy territory, surrounded by Germanic troops. After a stealth session in which he will reach the no-man's land, he will find his friend Wilson, wounded, next to the carcass of the burning plane. Blackburn hesitates, does not know whether to save his friend and risk his life or think only of himself. For a moment he even tried to kill his friend to prevent him from screaming and attracting the enemy's attention, but in the face of Willys's revelation of his identity, he decided to save him. Back in allied territory, he is arrested by the real owner of the plane, a certain Count of Windsor, escorted by the Military Police and brought back to London.
The British capital is under the attack of German aviation, equipped with fighter jets, bombers and the deadly Zeppelin. The Earl of Windsor is killed by a gunfire from a fighter and Blackburn is freed by his friend Willys. Once they get on the plane, they take part in the defense of London, knocking down as many enemy aircraft as possible and arriving to crash into a burning Zeppelin, hit by an anti-aircraft gun mounted on it. Captured the cannon, Blackburn uses it against the enemies by knocking down another airship that, however, collapses on the one where he and Wilson were. The two pilots launch into the void and end up in the Thames. The final scene shows us Blackburn coming out of the riverbank while his narrative voice tells us how he fought like a hero to save his friend, but that the story will tell different facts: a cheater that steals a plane, kills his copilot, is arrested and takes advantage of the German attack to escape from captivity. At the end of the monologue the player will never know what the truth is.
Single Player
According to the game's game designer, Daniel Berlin, the campaign mode has a wider and more open world than the previous chapters, with more choices in terms of approach to combat. Players use more characters during the campaign. Contrary to most of the titles in the series, the single-player Battlefield 1 does not have a single campaign but 5 mini-campaigns, plus an apprenticeship lasting between 40 minutes and 2 hours.
Development
In agreement with Berlin, the development team chose the First World War because the weapons of the period allow players to choose different styles of play. The game was called Battlefield 1 because the team considered World War I as the dawn of all modern war conflicts. Hand-to-hand weapons have been revisited, introducing a deeper system.  According to creative director Lars Gustavsson, the concept of the game has been elaborated for a long time. In agreement with Berlin, the gameplay was the most important aspect they focused on during the game's development, and also promised that it will not be diminished by the chosen historical period. The story of the game will be told from the point of view of various characters, facing the vicissitudes of each of them.
In June 2015, DICE revealed that it was working on an unannounced title. In January 2016, EA announced that Titanfall 2, Mass Effect: Andromeda and an unannounced title belonging to the Battlefield saga will be released by the end of the fiscal year. The title, release date and plot of the game were leaked prior to the official announcement of May 6, 2016.  The game was officially revealed on that day through a livestream on Twitch And Youtube, showing a trailer of the game containing the remix of The White Stripes' The Glitch Mob '' Seven Nation Army. "[The collector's edition of the game includes various gadgets such as the statue of a Harlem Hell Fighter, a code for downloadable content not yet announced, and a Steelbook case.  The pre-order bonus includes early access to a DLC of maps, and to the Harlem Hellfighter Pack. The deluxe edition includes pre-order bonuses, as well as three days of early access, the Red Baron Pack, the Lawrence of Arabia Pack, and 5 Battlepacks. An open beta has been announced in order to solve most technical bugs, glitches and crashes. Periodically, generally before the release of a DLC or an update, a CTE (Community Test Environment) is opened, accessible only to PC platform players, aimed at solving bugs and glitches through user feedback and already observed on previous Battlefield 4 and Battlefield Hardline titles.
